If you read anything today, read this
There are very good reasons why the United States of America is still worthy of being referred to as the greatest country is the world.
This Nation's very existence is a tribute to the unflagging spirit of innovation, courage and self-determination.
But most importantly, America provides an exemplary model for what the concept of freedom is supposed to look like in real time, which other countries seek to emulate.
That is not the myopic and pretentious declaration of a naive urbanite -- it is a demonstrable truth. Try living overseas for a little while and you will see what I mean.
This spirit of freedom which built our country is presently in jeopardy. It is being stealthily undermined by the peculiar form of government which the Obama administration is determined to institutionalize; a government with a lust for control that is more expansive in scope than many seem to realize; and one which tries to arrogate - contrary to the principles of the Founding Fathers- far more power than it was originally intended to wield.

This goof makes me ill!
Fergedaboudit, woodja?
If not for the green stuff around us, carbon dioxide would kill us.
It's part of the great plan of our Creator which allows us to be and continue to exist.
The mopes all over the world have seemingly gone MAD, telling us we should be taxed on our every exhale! But, who taxes them?
Who taxes George Soros, ALGORE, Fancy Nancy, Harry the Toadie, and Barry and his beloved consort--she of the bad fashion statements (40 people exhaling to make her party dress!)?
It is time for America to garner all the 'common sense' she can--and place these idiots in some asylum, where they can be 'taken care of', if you know what I mean?
Yes, we should all take stock, especially here in America, of how we live, and what is truly important in our lives. That is called freedom of choice. Kinda like freedom of speech, which these arses want to eliminate.
From here:
GOOD NEWS
Earth and it's inhabitants need more, not less, CO2.
More CO2 means:
More Plant Growth
Plants need less water
More food per acre
More robust habitats and ecosystems
CO2 is Earth's greatest airborne fertilizer. Without it - No Life On Earth!
Just common sense, scientific common sense from www.plantsneedco2.org
Stupid is as stupid does
Just so's ya know...
I'm tellin' you, though, I know how to do these decorations.
I was, for a time, a Holiday Design Director, except for the ultimate boss, a VP--a very short VP who had problems with his shortness. A kinda-sorta Napoleon type-guy, who did not appreciate it when I brought that part of him to the forefront. So, I got fired, for making decorations like this.
Here's the plain version, so you can add your own text:
I am trying to stay awake...to commemorate...
Forty years ago, at 3:31 AM, I gave birth to my second child, another son, who unfortunately, most unfortunately, was killed in a car crash in Poland in 1996, on November 28th of that year.
He was late, simply didn't want to be 'born'. But through the years, his innate talents were brought out by teachers, and me. I saw my son as a greater artist than me, yet he hid his work from me.
I'll tell you a little, true, story here. In the summer of 1983, I was hired to paint a ballet. I am not a dancer, but I have been, and was then called, the best scenic artist in the Midwest. Ask New York Designer Oliver Smith...oh, sorry, he's dead now, as are most of my cohorts from those days.
But back to my son, the younger one. He was staying with me for a while, and at thirteen-and-a-half, was overly intelligent. I could not let him off on his own, so I invited him to come and paint with me. He thought it would be 'cool'. I, of course, agreed.
So my son painted a good part of the lower backdrop for the ballet. Who knew he could manage a brush in a bamboo and stand and paint that long? But he caught on quickly, and added his own strokes to that "Swan Lake", designed by Jose Varona, a New York/Venezuela kinda guy.
Forty years ago, I was in hard labor at this time. My father and mother showed up, because my dad so wanted this child to be born on his birthday, the 11th of December. My son, though a Sagittarius, was more stubborn than his Taurus mother. He 'waited' until the 12th.
He is, no longer, except when I seem to hear his voice.
I still have another hour and almost a half to go. I'll make it, as I have done these past many years.
I love you, Rik!
UPDATE:
Welcome to the world, I said. Rik cried. And then began the sojourn of Erik, which ended in death at marker 100 in Poland, 1996.
JUST. STOP. DOING. IT. NOW!
(Meanwhile, the mayor sits and weeps of no money, while his bodyguards transport Maggie to hospital for chemo. Nice, huh?)
Stop now.
Just decide to stop.
You arses are killing and maiming your sisters and brothers.
If you had any BALLS, you would stop doing what your mamas told you not to do!
And any of you out there who might consider this a 'racist' statement--not only so-called black people HATE what was done to Tianna Leonard. We who are so-called whites SEE AND FEEL HER PAIN. All we have to do is look at that photograph!
But, then Tianna herself says: "I just never did nobody like this," the teen said (quite frankly, she implies she has attacked others along the way...hmmmm, sounds like she may be part of a gang, doesn't it?).
She was apparently attacked by a gang of girls. Do their mommas and/or daddies have any idea of what they have been doing?
Let me put it as succintly (look it up!) as I can for all of you gangbangers (male and female) out there:
The day of reckoning will come swiftly, even before you get to Tweet!
