Last one for tonight--I promise!

Hilarious, soooo true, better than "Casey at the Bat"!

Some great animation, too!

I think it deserves an Oscar, or TWO!

"Obama at the Bat"

Closing out the day... a digital photo of my mother's abalone shell which she purchased at a thrift shop back in the late 1960s. I shot it with my old 3.2 megapixel Olympus about three years ago.

The background is a separate abstract digital photo I shot about 5 years ago.

It works really well to enhance the shell.

Oh, and of course, it's been done in Photoshop (TM)!

Message Maven Finds Fingers Pointing at Him

From the article:

Sitting at his desk next door to the Oval Office last week, he was tearing into a five-inch corned beef sandwich on rye with a Flintstone-size turkey drumstick waiting on deck. “I am the poster child for the president’s obesity program,” he said.

A few minutes later, Mr. Obama walked in unannounced, scattering two aides like startled pigeons. “Hey,” Mr. Axelrod said by way of greeting (no “sir” or “Mr. President.”)

Mr. Obama surveyed the spread on Mr. Axelrod’s desk with a slight smirk.

“What is this, King Arthur’s court?” he asked, then pulled Mr. Axelrod aside to talk about a health care speech he was about to deliver.

'Nuff said--yet?

More shoe-throwing: at Barry Soetoro!

Indonesian students protest Barack Obama's visit

Protest organizer Ahmad Irhamul Fikri, spokesman for the Coordinating Board for Campus Proselytizing Institute, said bigger rallies will be staged next Friday in more Indonesian cities ahead of Obama's March 20-22 visit.

The question is:

Will Obama ignore these protests?

As much as he ignores the will of the American people?

How messy can you get?

I suppose politicians in Iraq, being quite medieval, have not yet heard of this invention.

The ink pad HAS been around for quite a while!

Should we all... view the world through rose-colored glasses?

Should we, Barry? Really?
