This is a huge fungus that grew immediately to the south of the Farcroft Apartments, in a cut-down tree off the alleyway. I shot it three years ago, and placed it upon an original abstract background.

It and the tree stump no longer exist.

Closing out the day...

...is a digital photo of my mother's abalone shell which she purchased at a thrift shop back in the late 1960s. I shot it with my old 3.2 megapixel Olympus about three years ago.

The background is a separate abstract digital photo I shot about 5 years ago.

It works really well to enhance the shell.

Oh, and of course, it's been done in Photoshop (TM)!
