Thinking Ahead

With a particular pain
I watch and wait.
Patiently.
Will you be a victim
With me
And the others
Who strive each day
To maintain sanity
And logic
And health and heart
While we are

Continually deceived?

Or shall we stand
United
Against those
Who are the cause

Of our collective pain?

Choices
To be made
Prior to the chill

Of a November morning.
